Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Yuravia (the "Service"), available at yuravia.com. Yuravia is operated by Compareor LLC ("Compareor", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use Yuravia.

1. The service

Yuravia is a web app that lets you log trips, count days per country, watch tax-residency thresholds, and follow friends' travel. We make the Service available "as is" without warranty of any kind. Features may change, be added, or removed over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Yuravia. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you put into Yuravia (trips, profile, comments, etc.). By using the Service you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you and the people you share it with. We never sell or syndicate your data.

You're responsible for the legality and accuracy of what you upload. Don't post anything illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or harmful.

4. No tax, legal or financial advice

Yuravia is an information tool, not a professional advisor. The residency engine encodes publicly-available tax rules sourced from official tax authorities. It is intended only as an early-warning signal — to help you notice when you're approaching a relevant day threshold so you can consult a qualified professional.

Tax residency is determined by far more than day-counts: tie-breaker rules, source of income, treaty positions, family situation, and centre-of-vital-interests tests all matter. Do not rely on Yuravia alone for tax filings, residency claims, or any regulated decision. We accept no liability for tax, immigration, or financial consequences of decisions you take based on Yuravia.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, mirror, or republish the Service without permission;
  • attempt to break, overload, or probe our security;
  • use Yuravia to harass, defame, or impersonate others;
  • use the Service for any illegal purpose;
  • create accounts to abuse the social features (spam follows, fake invites, etc.).

6. Intellectual property

The Yuravia name, logo, design, and codebase are our property (or our licensors'). Open-source dependencies are governed by their own licenses.

7. Third-party services

Yuravia integrates with Supabase (data + auth). Their respective terms apply when you use those parts of the Service.

8. Service availability

We try hard to keep Yuravia available but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to take the Service down for maintenance, security patches, or other operational reasons.

9. Membership, billing & cancellation

Yuravia offers a 14-day free trial that begins when you log your first trip. After the trial, continued access to paid features requires an active membership. Membership is an annual subscription priced at €39.99 per year on the web (prices in the iOS app are set and shown by the App Store in your local currency and may differ). The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase.

Automatic renewal. Your membership renews automatically for successive one-year terms at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged at the start of each term, unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing you authorize these recurring charges.

How to cancel. You can cancel at any time. On the web, go to Settings → Membership and choose "Cancel membership"; your subscription stops renewing and you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store must be managed and cancelled in your App Store account settings (Apple requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the renewal date).

Price changes. We may change the membership price. Any change applies only to future renewals, and we will give you reasonable advance notice — and, where required, the opportunity to cancel — before it takes effect.

Refunds. Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and cancelling only stops future renewals; we do not pro-rate or refund the unused portion of a term you have already paid for. Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policy and must be requested from Apple.

EU / EEA / UK right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Because we provide a free trial before any charge and give you immediate access to the paid service upon payment, you expressly request that the service begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the subscription term has started and the service has been supplied. This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have.

Taxes. Depending on your location, prices may be shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT or other applicable taxes; where we are required to collect such taxes, they are added at checkout.

Payments on the web are processed by Stripe; purchases in the iOS app are processed by Apple. For any billing question, contact us at contact@compareor.com.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your trips and profile are removed from our database within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. The operator's aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed US$100.

12. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and Yuravia agree that the state and federal courts located in Wyoming shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service. Consumers. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws — or of your right to bring proceedings before the competent courts — of the country or state where you habitually reside; this includes consumers in the EU, EEA, and UK, whose statutory rights and local courts remain available to them regardless of the choice of Wyoming law and forum above.

Informal resolution first. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact the operator at contact@compareor.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 60 days.

Class-action waiver. To the extent permitted by law, you and Yuravia waive any right to bring claims as a plaintiff or class member in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

13. Changes

We may revise these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to signed-in users.
